"...Yes, but I'm not nervous about getting married."
"Then what are you nervous about?"
"Forgetting my lines."
We arrived at the venue and before we could start the ceremony, there was a man in dire need of medical attention. Even though Billie was only a paramedic, he immediately went to help the man.
"Doctor! I need a Doctor!"
"Hold still let me have a look at you."
"You're in luck Mr. It looks like its just a mild case of constipation! Here, take these fiber caplets twice a day until you can go. Now if you don't mind, my beautiful bride is waiting for me."
After Billie returned to the altar we said our vows, he didn't forget the words.
I Billie Main, choose you Rosie Castillo as my best friend, my love for life.
I promise you my deepest love, my fullest devotion,my tenderest care, through the pressures of the present and the uncertainties of the future.
I promise to be faithful to you, I promise to love you, to commit to you, and support you.
I pledge to respect your unique talents and abilities, to lend you strength for all of your dreams.
You have shown me what love feels like and for that I thank you.
You are everything I need and at this moment I know all of my wishes and my dreams have come true.
I promise to be here for ever and always.
From this day forward, you shall not walk alone.
My heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home.
As I have given you my hand to hold, I give you my life to keep.
I, Rosie Castillo join my life with yours.
Wherever you go, I will go; whatever you face, I will face.
For good or ill, in happiness or sadness, come riches or poverty, I take you as my husband, and will give myself to no other.
Because of you, I laugh, I smile, I dare to dream again.
I look forward with great joy to spending the rest of my life with you, caring for you, nurturing you, being there for you in all life has for us, and I vow to be true and faithful for as long as we both shall live.

Authors note: I flipping love this picture. I spent quite awhile trying to think of something as epic as this picture to say, but I failed.
After the after-party Billie phoned up the travel agency and we headed out to France for our honeymoon.

Sorry about there not being more story. I just felt the wedding montage was good. Also, do you prefer to read with the text anchored on the left or centered?

I love the vows! And they are such an adorable couple!
ReplyDeleteFor the vows centre was fine :) gave it something poetic, but storywise I'd say left, but that's just personal ;)
Awww. Adorable wedding. <3
ReplyDeleteI personally prefer it on the left, but it's not difficult to read in the center either. :D
How about the Font? Is it readable?
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful wedding. After the constipated guy was taken care of, lol. That was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI like left anchoring, personally.
The font is readable, and it suits the first person style of the story, like Rosie is writing it in her diary.
What a lovely wedding :)
ReplyDeleteThey make such an adorable couple. Rosie's looks are so sweet, and Billie's freckles are just cute.
ReplyDeleteI prefer left anchored, but centre works for the vows.
