Gen 1.3

 Billie did stop over, only to tell me that we would be going on a date that night. I fed the kitten and we headed out to the movies.

 After the movie he lead me up a very long path. We came to a small clearing with the most beautiful view of the town. Billie laid down a blanket and we ate under the stars.

 He is really the cutest.

 After we ate I was suprised by a lush bouquet of red roses. I've never seen someone so romantic.

 Just as I turned away to go pick up the blanket and head home, Billie called my name.

 "Rosie, when I first met you in the library I knew you were the one. I was heartbroken when you didn't speak to me, it felt like my world was falling apart. I knew I had to do something about it. I don't want to ever go without you in my life."

 "Rosie Castillo, will you marry me?"

 I couldn't speak, I just nodded my head yes and lept into his arms.

 We decided that Billie would move in and that we would get married after the initial engagement excitement wore off. Also, we wouldn't be throwing any bachelor/bachelorette parties. I really hadn't made any friends, and the ones he had were the people he lived with.

 

We found out that Billie or I would have to leave the school. Apparently there was a law in place that disallowed couples to be working together, only at the school. As much as Billie loved kids, he left the school and took up a career in the medical field.

Good choice I suppose, I kept getting electrocuted by the washing machine, it broke all the time.

 Kai grew up to be a very beautiful cat. She just has a thing for toilets.

 And watching tv with Billie.

 "You know, I really miss having a kitten in the house. Would you be ok with getting another one, it would be a female."

This is Nona, Shes aggressive and skittish. Also, she is really freaking adorable.

I sat and debated awhile before continuing the chapter after the engagement. Instead of having 2 short chapters I went with one medium one.
